If you want to travel from Paris to the French Riviera by car, you can do so, and you can choose several different routes for doing so.
The quickest route takes 8 h 38 minutes. It is 887,9 kilometers between Paris and the French Riviera, and if you’re choosing the fastest route, you’re driving on the A6 and A7.
France’s motorway system links the Riviera to the whole of Europe which makes traveling by car using the motorways a pleasant and fast alternative. Note that along the way, there are road tolls.

If you’re traveling by train, it normally takes a little more than six hours of train time, and you’ll have to plan with another 15-20 minutes at the transfer in Lyon or Marseilles you have to take.
If you would choose to travel by a direct TGV train, getting from Paris to the French Rivera takes 5.5 hours.
You can buy second-class tickets one-way, and the prices for those are around $150-180. If you’d like to travel first class, the prices start at around $ 250.
