Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez

Hotel Martinez is a five-star hotel in Cannes, located with a seafront view, just along the Croisette. In 2017, it was completely renovated to meet its guests’ demands of top-class hotel experiences and service.

The hotel is located on the east side of the Croisette,1.2 km from the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. The hotel rooms have either city or sea views, and if you have a suite, you’ll have either terrace or balcony. Moreover, suites also add the luxury of hot tubs.

The hotel has over 400 rooms and suites, making it a hotel of quite the size. It has Europe’s largest penthouse suite. It is billed at US$37,500 per night and is listed as the fourth most expensive hotel suite in the world.

Hôtel Martinez was opened on 20 February 1929, and its founder is  Emmanuel Michele Martinez. The hotel was repeatedly occupied during World War II.

In 2012, the hotel was sold, and came to join the Hyatt hotel chain in 2013. Accordingly, the hotel was renamed from Hôtel Martinez to Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez.

Le Grand Hotel is a five-star hotel in Cannes with a seafront location, just across the street of the Croisette.

The hotel was built during the second half of the 19th century.

In 1860, the project of building the Croisette is voted by the municipality of Cannes. And just a few months later after the infamous walk is inaugurated on March 14, 1863, the Grand Hotel started to be built.The hotel is designed by the architect Laurent Vianay.
